Zigbee channel planner

Select the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channels around you. The planner shows which Zigbee channels (11–26) are free of overlap. Changing the Zigbee channel usually means re-pairing or adjusting devices.

    Frequently asked questions

Which Zigbee channels are usually good?

With the common Wi-Fi channels 1, 6 and 11, Zigbee channels 15, 20, 25 and 26 sit in the gaps. Channels 25 and 26 are not supported by every device, though.

Can I change the channel later?

Depending on the coordinator (ZHA, Zigbee2MQTT) yes, but not every device follows reliably. Plan the channel before pairing devices if you can.

    How is overlap calculated?

A Wi-Fi channel occupies about 22 MHz around its centre frequency, a Zigbee channel 2 MHz. If the Zigbee channel falls inside that width it counts as disturbed.
